Schmersal Group can test safety products of the Machinery Directive themselves
Since February 2010, we are authorised to test functional safety products in accordance with Appendix X to the new Machinery Directive by ourselves. The requirements that this Appendix X places on the quality management system go far beyond the DIN EN ISO 9000ff. To our customers and to you, this means that we meet the highest quality standards - and we voluntarily accept external audits to ensure that the system is properly used. For series products however, we will continue to commission a notified body to subject our own results to an external verification. more |

Standards & Co.: components library for SISTEMA
At the Hanover Industrial Trade Fair, we will show you calculation examples for the SISTEMA software and our components library, which provides the data required by SISTEMA, e.g. the B10d values or the service life TM. In this way, the assessment of the safety-related parts of control systems to EN ISO 13849-1 is facilitated to the machine builder. more |
