In 1999, after an intensive preparation, a production plant was founded in the future market China.
Near Shanghai, about 100 employees produce and assemble - to the same quality standards and with the same machinery, devices and tools as in the European factories - position and safety switches as well as lift switchgear.
The fast growth required a thorough redesign as well as a noticeable extension of the production and office facilities in 2007. Currently, a local engineering department is being set up as well.
