The main tasks of the CE Network include the support of mechanical engineers during the conformity assessment, which must be performed before the CE Conformity Mark can be affixed. Another key point is the consultancy of users, who want/must make sure that their production plants meet the harmonized legalizations and standards. The CE Network also helps the mechanical engineer with the compilation, the optimization or the translation of the technical documentation, which is also assessed under the scope of the CE Conformity Mark.

The cooperation of the network partners provides for a knowledge base, which covers a very large field of themes regarding machine safety; even in case of very special questions, the CE Network can help you along. And of course the Schmersal Group, which participates to the formulation and review of standards in the standardisation bodies and which collaborates for instance highly intensively with the professional associations, injects its knowhow in the Network as well.
